Dressed for Success

For me, “Dressed for Success” means dressing appropriately for different occasions. I wear causal t-shirts and pants at home to be comfortable. I wear school uniforms properly during school days. I wear flexible gym clothes to do exercise. I wear traditional costume to celebrate festivals. I wear fancy dresses to give performances in front of people.

Appropriate clothes can help me fit into the environment around me and give me confidence. If I attend a formal reception, I will wear an evening dress to show my respect for the event. I will also feel comfortable talking with other people when in appropriate attire. On the other hand, wearing a dressy dress would be awkward to go to an amusement park with friends in. Sweaters and jeans are suitable for having fun. I can be relaxed to play around in causal clothes.

I don’t know if dressing well can really lead me to success. But I do know that appropriate clothes will make me look right.

The End of Terrible Cupid

When I looked up and saw Cupid, I knew we were in trouble. I had already heard about his terrible shooting skills. In our school, Jack is the most handsome boy. I had a crush on him. At that time, Cupid was with Jack. If Cupids arrow hit me, he would also like me as I wished. I saw Cupid drawing his bow and aiming at me. So I eagerly walked towards him to let him get me easier. The arrow came to me but ended up hitting my backpack. Then, the boy came to ask for my backpack. I was so disappointed that Cupid missed it. He really was a Terrible Cupid.

I had to end Cupids bad shooting. When he was checking his bow with regret, I threw a stone that hit his arrow. The arrow was shot backwards. It hit Cupid and bounced back hitting the bow. As a result, Cupid fell in love with his own bow and arrow. No more wrong relationships have been caused by Terrible Cupid since then
